The National Prisoner Foundation distributed 150 food baskets to the prisoners’ families in Amanat Al-Asimah, funded by (MTN) Company and in coordination with the Supreme Committee for the Welfare of Prisoners and Insolvent Assistance.

The National Prisoner Foundation distributed 150 food baskets to the prisoners’ families  in Amanat Al-Asimah, funded by (MTN) Company and in coordination with the Supreme Committee for the Welfare of Prisoners and Insolvent Assistance.

The Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office of Amanat Al Asimah, Mr.Nasser Al-Kahili, praised the National Prisoner Foundation’s role in caring of the prisoners, providing them and their families with assistance and meeting their needs.
In this regard ,the Director of the Rights and Freedoms in the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, a member of the follow-up team of the Supreme Committee, Mr.Ali Jassar, praised the projects of the National Prisoner Foundation, which it carries out as part of its interest in the conditions of prisoners and their families.
He pointed out that the distribution of food baskets is an embodiment of the partnership between official authorities and civil society organizations working in the field of prisons, especially the National Prisoner Foundation.
For his part, the General Manager of the National Prisoner Foundation, Mr.Fadl Obaid, stressed the continuation of providing care and services to prisoners in all fields.
He explained that the distribution of the food baskets to the prisoners’ families comes within the Foundation’s program and annual plans aimed at caring of the prisoners , the insolvent prisoners and their families, whether they are still behind bars or who have been released.
Mr.Obaid called businessmen and benevolent people to take care of the prisoners and their families and meet their needs, noting that the food basket will contribute to alleviating the burdens of living on the prisoners’ families, especially those who depend on those who are behind bars.
While a number of representatives of the prisoners’ families expressed their gratitude to the National Prisoner Foundation and, its caring of them and its constant endeavor to care for the prisoners in light of the conditions that the country is going through.
